Give me all the shamblers!

Following the old id Software library, Bethesda remade Wolfenstein and DOOM to both commercial and critical success. The next old game, Quake, is a franchise that hasn’t been touched since 2007, but it is going to be the next game in id Software’s lineup. It’s titled Quake: Champions.

The announcement trailer started with different characters firing classic Quake weapons like the lightning gun, plasma rifle, and rocket launcher. The characters are moving around in an open arena and there are hints that Quake: Champions will focus on the competitive multiplayer that made the Quake franchise famous.

As of time of writing there isn’t a release date or publicized platforms. If you have any comments, leave them below.
