BioWare has released a new video highlighting one of the new vehicles found in Mass Effect: Andromeda. The all-terrain Nomad will work as a replacement for the Mako seen in earlier Mass Effect entries and comes complete with a slew of potential upgrades.
As the video shows, six-wheel drive will allow players to scale tricky sections of the environment, and a handbrake will grant drivers more fluid control. An improved boost will surely prove vital, and extra shields will assist players during some of the game’s more hazardous missions.
The Nomad can be summoned from any forward operating base, and will prove especially useful when scrounging for resources as players explore the multitude of planets awaiting in Mass Effect: Andromeda.
The new Mass Effect title hits store shelves in North America on March 21st and March 23rd in the UK. The full game will be purchasable on PC, Xbox One, and the PS4, but EA Access members on Xbox and PC will be granted a free ten-hour trial on March 16th. The demo will provide access to both single and multiplayer content, and any saved content will carry over to the fully released version.
Are you jonesing as bad as I am for March 21st? Do you think the Nomad will be a welcome upgrade over the M-word-which-must-not-be-named? Let us know in the comments!
